Volunteer With Us
Volunteers help make College Oak Montessori School a vibrant, exciting place for children
Parents, grandparents and friends lend their energy and expertise to help with a variety of projects including gardening, attending board meetings, helping at special events and more. Below you will find on-going, campus-wide volunteer opportunities. You will find additional, helpful information on the Volunteer Board in the office hallway. Special projects, special events and one-time-only opportunities will be posted in the office as well as announced in our newsletter.
Most volunteering at COMS paused during the pandemic and we are now ramping up our volunteer program. Stay tuned!

Assist with one or more of the following: solicit donations of wine/food/desserts, coordinate wine raffle, coordinate classroom projects, work on invitations/decorations/food, keep track of donations/send thank you cards, wine/dessert pairing, pick up/return of sustainable glasses/plates. Let our office staff know if you are interested and our Auction Coordinator will contact you.
Special Events
We have several special events each year, including outdoor work parties, potlucks, All Species Day and Earth Day. Watch newsletter and office to sign up a few weeks before each event.
Rose Bush Care
Do you have a knack for roses? We would appreciate your help caring for our rose bushes planted in front by our school’s founder, Rebecca Ault. Please let office staff know if you’d like to help.
